Not everything has to be worn. Some of the best-performing designs in the shop ended up on a mug that sits on a desk in an open-plan office, which is arguably more exposure than a shirt gets.

Mugs are the sleeper hit. A shirt gets seen by strangers for a few minutes; a mug sits in a shared kitchen for years and starts a conversation roughly every time somebody new reads it.

Beyond that it gets less predictable, in a good way: beach towels, swim trunks, and boxer briefs — the last two matched deliberately, because someone was always going to ask. They make better gifts than most people expect, mostly because nobody sees them coming.
